About us

We live in Oslo and plan every journey ourselves, from your first message to the day you fly home.

Norway is home for us, and we host guests the way we welcome friends and family to Oslo. Rather than handing you off to a local sub-agent or a crowded tour bus, we pace each route around your party, arrange scenic trains, private drivers and local dining (with halal options available on request), and stay one message away throughout your trip.

  • Nordic dining & optional private chef

In Oslo, Bergen and along the coast we reserve top Nordic and fresh seafood tables, with halal and dietary options available on request. For remote fjord cabin and villa stays, we can also arrange a private chef at your table.

  • Scenic rail, SUV or private driver

Travel effortlessly by scenic mountain railway and fjord express boat, drive a modern 4WD SUV, or add a private Mercedes-Benz V-Class or VIP minibus driver with airport arrivals-gate luggage handling.

  • Unhurried pacing & Coolcation comfort

Flexible morning departures after breakfast, zero 7-hour drives (we split Oslo to Bergen at Vøringsfossen or book a private train compartment), and step-free cable-car or boat viewpoints. Ideal for multi-generational families and 55+ 'Coolcation' groups in May, June and September.

Questions

How does getting around work, and what does a private driver include?

Our Comfort packages use Norway's scenic mountain railways, fjord express boats, domestic flights, or a modern rental SUV so you always get the lowest base price. When you add a private driver, we use spacious Mercedes-Benz V-Class vans (up to 6 guests) and VIP minibuses (7 to 16 guests) for 8 to 10 hours daily, with fuel, road tolls, fjord car-ferries, parking, and driver accommodation included.

Is the pacing comfortable for young children and grandparents?

Yes. Every itinerary is private, so you choose your own morning departure time after a relaxed breakfast. We split Oslo to Bergen at Vøringsfossen or book a private family train compartment (egen kupé), and our signature viewpoints (Stegastein, Loen Skylift, Fløibanen, Fjellheisen) are reached by car, cable car, or fjord boat rather than steep hikes.

How do dining, dietary preferences and halal options work?

Every journey includes daily hotel breakfast and reservations at our favourite Nordic and fresh seafood restaurants (such as The Salmon, Lektern, Kød, and Ekebergrestauranten in Oslo). We cater smoothly to vegetarian, allergy-friendly, and halal preferences: in the cities we book vetted halal and seafood tables, and for remote fjord villas you can pre-stock groceries or add a private chef.

What is the summer weather like, and how do flights & Schengen visas work?

Summer in the Norwegian fjords (June to August) is fresh and green at 16°C to 22°C, while winter in Tromsø and Hemsedal brings crisp snow for aurora and ski stays. Oslo (OSL) connects easily from major European, UK, US, and Gulf hubs (including nonstop flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Doha, and Dubai). For guests who need a Schengen visa, we provide all confirmed hotel and itinerary vouchers.

Do you host 55+ 'Coolcation' groups or act as a B2B ground handler (DMC) for foreign tour operators?

Yes, both. Following the classic Nordic Reiseleder (dedicated tour host) formula, we run slow-paced, all-inclusive comfort journeys in the quiet May, June and September shoulder seasons for European and GCC 55+ 'Coolcation' travellers escaping summer heatwaves, complete with step-free rail and fjord cruises, luggage handling, and a dedicated host. For international tour operators and travel clubs, we also serve as your turnkey Norwegian B2B Ground Handler (DMC) for 10 to 16+ guest groups: you manage flights in your home market while we deliver contracted hotels, VIP coaches, scenic rail and ferry allocations, dining, and local Norwegian hosts.
